Festival Stewards Needed for Nova
Want to volunteer at Nova festival? We need enthusiastic, fun, hard working and sociable people to join our team of Festival Stewards for what promises to be magical weekend in beautiful Bignor Park.

Volunteering is a great way to get involved with the festival. You’re effectively the eyes and ears of the event; ensuring the safety and comfort of Nova’s festival goers; helping to make sure that we leave the park just as we found it; and in between and at the end of all your shifts you will be free to enjoy the festival!

How do I apply?
To be eligible to apply you must be over 18 years of age and you will need to pay a £140.00 refundable bond.

If you have worked with us before (either Big Chill Stewards 2008 and/or Big Chill Stewards 2009 only) and completed all of your shifts you will be exempt from paying a bond. Nova’s Steward HQ team also ran Big Chill Stewards. We’ve had such a high number of returning volunteers that in return for your hard work we wanted to express our thanks by making is easier for you to return another year.

Everyone will be required to volunteer 24hrs in exchange for a festival ticket.

Providing that you complete all of your shifts you will receive £40.00 as a contribution towards your expenses. This will be paid directly into your bank account along with your bond refund.

With the exception of free tea & coffee we do not provide any meals or meal vouchers during the festival.

Please be aware that Nova is a 24 HOUR FESTIVAL therefore Steward shifts will run though the night.

What happens next…
Once you’ve submitted your application we’ll be in touch within 2 working days to provisionally confirm your place, we’ll also send you the bank details you’ll need to make your bond payment. Once that’s been received your place will be confirmed and you can join us in counting down the sleeps.
